Welcome to Weltel. We are committed to providing innovative technology solutions in management of HIV/AIDS and other health issues.
Weltel was started in 2006 by clinicians and scientists carrying out a study that assessed the effectiveness of text messaging in supporting and improving adherence among patients on antiretroviral medications in Kenya. As a result of the study, two mHealth innovations have been created (Weltel for Smartphone and Weltel for RapidSMS) with many more on the way.
We are seeking to partner with various stakeholders in providing mHealth solutions that will improve the effectiveness of the health care systems nationally and internationally.
